Connecting rooms ("family cabins") are located on decks 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. The list of connecting cabins grades includes 2 beds (4E, 8P), 3 beds (PT, 6L), 3 beds (6A), 2-3 beds (8B, 8E, 8D), 2-4 beds (8A, 8F), and beds (6M, 7C). Handicap staterooms (35 total) are in categories OS-Ocean Suie (1), Balcony (2), Oceanview (13), Interior (15) and Small Interior (4).

Carnival Magic
When you make your selection, looking at the screen, the cabins on the right are starboard, left side is port. We usually chose an aft wrap for the scenery and privacy, but that is just our preference. The 2011-built Carnival Magic cruise ship is one the biggest and Carnival's second DREAM-class liner, together with Breeze, Dream as well as Costa Diadema.

Storage is more than adequate, with plenty of drawers and spacious closets (remember, it's the tropics so you aren't packing a ton of clothes). There's a wide window ledge in balcony cabins so the person on that side of the bed can use that for essentials as well. Each bed has a night table and there's a wide sofa and table facing the mirror. The hair dryer is permanently attached in the seating area's pullout drawer. Most cabins are equipped with two outlets -- sadly, not next to the bed -- and the razor-only one in the bathroom is well hidden in a top corner.

The ship's top cabin, the Grand Suite, while spacious, is still not a "true suite" with two separate rooms. They have the same features as the other suites, with a walk-in closet with a vanity, a full bathroom with a combo shower/whirlpool tub and double sinks.
Love being on the Lido, as it's close to the action, but you still have cabins above and below. (On Lido deck 10) were added 2 new poolside eateries (both complimentary) – Guy’s Burger Joint (fast-food bar) and Bluelguana Cantina (Mexican eatery). Other new venues on Lido deck are BlueIguana Tequila Bar (Mexican-themed outdoor bar for frozens and beers) and the Pizzeria del Capitano (complimentary). Family Harbor Staterooms & Suites
Electric power outlets are located in the desk/vanity area – one 110 V outlet (3-pronged, USA grounded) and one 220 V outlet (European standard). The bathroom’s 2-pin plug can be used only for electric razors. If you don't want anyone smoking on the balcony next door then opt for an 8P on deck 11 or and 8S on Deck 12.
The card has a designated owner and must be utilized for all money transactions on the ship as cash is accepted as a form of payment only at the casino. These cards are provided to all passengers (incl minors) immediately upon boarding the ship. Balance updates are provided at Guest Services desk (at any time). They can also be checked via the smart TV in each stateroom.
We went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, and we found just the guy. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own. Those looking for a comparable itinerary and family-friendly vibe without the crowds are often drawn to Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas, which is slightly bigger and carries fewer passengers. Cabins on Mariner are more stylish and family entertainment is somewhat more impressive, but prices can be a little bit higher on Royal Caribbean’s cruise liner.
